Trunk Bay 8 (US Virgin Island)
CALM SEAS Though there is a very small risk of hurricanes, and there are more rainy days, the ocean is much calmer May through November. We particularly love the Caribean in October and November, as the ocean is in a postcard state if there are clear skies.
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
CLEAR SKIES Sunny days are more likely between December to April, however visits during May through November are underrated, with calmer seas.
HIGH SEASON High season runs from December through April in the Caribbean, and Trunk Bay is much busier during those months than it is at other times of the year.
Cala Mariolu (Italy)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
CONTROLLED ACCESS There is a maximum of 700 people allowed on Cala Mariolu at one time, and this is strictly controlled by staff on site.
CALM SEAS The Mediterranean is much calmer from June through October, which is the best time of year to visit Cala Mariolu.
TIME OF DAY Due to the popularity of European beaches in summer, we recommend visiting Cala Mariolu fairly early in the morning to enjoy it without it being very crowded.
Meads Bay (Anguilla)
CALM SEAS Though there is a very small risk of hurricanes, and there are more rainy days, the ocean is much calmer May through November. We particularly love the Caribean in October and November, as the ocean is in a postcard state if there are clear skies.

TIME OF DAY Increase the chances of having a stretch of Meads Bay all to yourself by visiting early in the day.
Entalula Beach (Philippines)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
TYPHOONS Typhoon season in the Eastern Pacific runs from June through October. Beware of the small risk of a typhoon during this time.
CLEAR SKIES Sunny days are much more likely from December through April, with the rest of the year experiencing an extreme rainy season.
CALM SEAS It is generally less windy from March through November, resulting in calmer seas. April is a great month with less wind and little rain.
Voutoumi Beach (Greece)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
HIGH SEASON High season peaks in July and August, and Voutoumi Beach is much busier during those months than it is at other times of the year. June and September are a great compromise with less crowds and excellent weather.
CALM SEAS The Mediterranean is much calmer from June through October, which is the best time of year to visit Voutoumi Beach.
TIME OF DAY Due to the popularity of European beaches in summer, we recommend visiting Voutoumi Beach fairly early in the morning to enjoy it without it being very crowded.
Turquoise Bay (Autralia)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
CALM SEAS The sea state is generally calmer during the months of April through August.
CLEAR SKIES Try to visit during the drier months of the year to maximize your chances at seeing Turquoise Bay at its best.
ROGUE WAVES Turquoise Bay faces open ocean, which can result in waves even if the wind is blowing out to sea.
Pink Beach (Indonesia)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
CLEAR SKIES Sunny days are more likely between May through October, as Pink Beach experiences a rainy season during the other months of the year.
CALM SEAS During the windier months of the year the ocean is more likely to be rough and wavey, creating less than idyllic conditions.
TIME OF DAY Increase the chances of having a stretch of Pink Beach all to yourself by visiting early in the day.
Anse Georgette (Seychelles)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
CLEAR SKIES Rainy season is generally only two months long, in December and January. It is more mild than mostother tropical climates.
CALM SEAS During the windier months of the year the ocean is more likely to be rough and wavey, creating less than idyllic conditions.
TIME OF DAY Increase the chances of having a stretch of Anse Georgette all to yourself by visiting early in the day.
Green Lagoon (French Polynesia)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
CLEAR SKIES Sunny days are more likely between May through October, as Green Lagoon experiences a rainy season during the other months of the year.
CALM SEAS During the windier months of the year the ocean is more likely to be rough and wavey, creating less than idyllic conditions.
TIME OF DAY Increase the chances of having a stretch of Green Lagoon all to yourself by visiting early in the day.
Horse Shoe Island (Myanmar)
WIND Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.
CLEAR SKIES Sunny days are much more likely from December through March, with the rest of the year experiencing a rainy season.
CALM SEAS During the windier months of the year the ocean is more likely to be rough and wavey, creating less than idyllic conditions.
TIME OF DAY Increase the chances of having a stretch of Horse Shoe Island all to yourself by visiting early in the day.
