Description

These Air Fryer Potato Wedges are the ultimate crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside fries—with way less oil than deep frying!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large russet potatoes (or Yukon Gold for a creamier texture)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)

For Dipping (Optional but Delicious!):

  • Ketchup, ranch, honey mustard, or chipotle aioli

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Potatoes

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes (no need to peel!).
  2. Cut into wedges by slicing each potato in half, then into 4-6 equal wedges per half.

Step 2: Season the Wedges

  1. Place the wedges in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper (and any extra spices you like).

Step 3: Air Fry to Crispy Perfection

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Place the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd!).
  3. Air fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with extra salt or fresh herbs, and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
