Description
These Air Fryer Potato Wedges are the ultimate crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside fries—with way less oil than deep frying!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet potatoes (or Yukon Gold for a creamier texture)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
For Dipping (Optional but Delicious!):
- Ketchup, ranch, honey mustard, or chipotle aioli
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Potatoes
- Wash and scrub the potatoes (no need to peel!).
- Cut into wedges by slicing each potato in half, then into 4-6 equal wedges per half.
Step 2: Season the Wedges
- Place the wedges in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper (and any extra spices you like).
Step 3: Air Fry to Crispy Perfection
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd!).
- Air fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
- Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with extra salt or fresh herbs, and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
