- ½ cup chicken broth (or white wine)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey (for balance)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
For Serving:

- Lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Season the Seafood
- Pat the salmon and shrimp dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub half of the seasoning mixture onto the salmon fillets and toss the shrimp in the other half.
Step 2: Sear the Salmon
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
Step 3: Cook the Shrimp
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.
- Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
Step 4: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth (or wine), lemon juice, and honey, scraping up the flavorful bits from the pan.
- Simmer for 2 minutes, then return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over them.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy!
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with rice, pasta, or veggies.
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for that final burst of flavor.
