Description

If you’re craving something crispy, cheesy, and packed with juicy beef, this Cheesy Beef Grilled Sandwich is about to be your new obsession! 


Ingredients

For the Beef Filling:

  • ½ lb cooked beef (steak, roast beef, or ground beef)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (for deep flavor)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Sandwich:

  • 4 slices thick bread (sourdough, Texas toast, or French bread)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for toasting)
  • 4 slices cheese (cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella)
  • 2 tbsp mayo or garlic aioli (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef Filling:

  • If using steak or roast beef, slice it thinly.
  • If using ground beef, cook in a pan over medium heat until browned.
  • Add butter, onions, and garlic to the pan and cook until soft and golden.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.

2. Assemble the Sandwich:

  • Spread mayo or garlic aioli on one side of each bread slice (optional but adds flavor!).
  • Layer cheese on one slice of bread.
  • Spoon beef mixture evenly over the cheese.
  • Add another slice of cheese on top for extra gooeyness.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top.

3. Grill the Sandwich:

  • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.
  • Spread butter on the outside of the sandwich.
  • Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing lightly, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Slice in half and watch that cheese pull happen!
