For the Pasta:
- 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets. Sauté until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
- Prepare the Sauce: Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the Pasta: Stir in the uncooked pasta. Cover and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the liquid has reduced.
- Incorporate the Cheese: Stir in the Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and smooth. Add the chicken and broccoli back to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
