Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine almond flour and granulated sugar.
  • Prepare the Egg Whites:
    • In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the almond flour mixture.
  • Add the Flavor:
    • Stir in almond and vanilla extracts until the dough comes together. It should be slightly sticky.
  • Shape the Cookies:
    • Scoop small portions of dough (about 1 tablespoon) and roll into balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar, coating evenly, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake:
    • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden on the outside. Let cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
