Description

This Copycat Starbucks Iced Café Mocha is smooth, chocolatey, and perfectly balanced, just like the real deal. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot of espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)
  • 1 cup milk (whole, oat, almond, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (or cocoa powder + sweetener)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Whipped cream (optional but highly recommended!)
  • Chocolate shavings or extra drizzle (for garnish)

Optional Add-ins:

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract for extra depth.
  • A pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.
  • Sweetener of choice if you want it sweeter.

Instructions

1. Brew Your Espresso

  • If you have an espresso machine, pull one strong shot of espresso.
  • No espresso? No problem! Brew ½ cup of strong coffee instead.

2. Mix with Chocolate

  • While the espresso is hot, stir in the chocolate syrup until smooth.
  • If using cocoa powder, mix 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder with a little warm water and sweetener to create a syrup-like consistency.

3. Add Ice and Milk

  • Fill a tall glass or tumbler with ice.
  • Pour in the chocolate espresso mixture, followed by cold milk.

4. Stir and Taste

  • Stir well and taste-test for sweetness. Add more chocolate or sweetener if needed.

5. Top it Off!

  • If you’re feeling fancy, add whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
