Ingredients
The Base:
- 10–12 mini sweet peppers, halved and deseeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Mix-In Options (Choose One or More!):
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar or Parmesan
- 2 tbsp chopped chives or green onions
- 2 tbsp bacon bits (for a smoky twist!)
- 2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp finely chopped jalapeños (for a kick!)
Optional Garnish:
- Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or cilantro)
- A sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning
- A drizzle of balsamic glaze
Instructions
Slice the mini sweet peppers in half lengthwise and remove any seeds. Arrange them on a tray.
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir in your choice of mix-ins like cheddar cheese, chives, bacon bits, or sun-dried tomatoes.
Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each mini pepper half with the cream cheese mixture. Smooth out the top with a knife.
Top with fresh herbs, extra cheese, or a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning for an extra pop of flavor. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes before serving.
