If there’s one dish that effortlessly balances creamy, tangy, and refreshing flavors, it’s a good Crab Salad. This recipe is light yet satisfying, simple but fancy, and can be served in so many ways—on crackers, in a sandwich, or straight from the bowl with a fork (no judgment here!).
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb crab meat (real or imitation)
- ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ lemon, juiced
- ¼ cup celery, finely chopped
- ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
This recipe is so simple, yet so full of flavor—just chop, mix, and serve!
- Prep the Crab: If using imitation crab, shred it into bite-sized pieces. If using real crab meat, check for any shell fragments and gently break it apart.
- Make the Dressing: In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Combine Everything: Add the crab, celery, red onion, and parsley to the bowl. Gently toss to coat all ingredients in the dressing.
- Chill & Serve: Let it sit in the fridge for 15-30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve cold and enjoy!
