Description

This recipe for Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails is the perfect marriage of elegance and comfort, offering flavors that are nothing short of spectacular.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the Lobster Tails:
    • Using kitchen scissors, cut along the top of each lobster shell to expose the meat. Carefully pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell. Brush the lobster meat with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear the Lobster:
    • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and sear the lobster tails meat-side down for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth. Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine and Serve:
    • Return the lobster tails to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes until the lobster is fully cooked and tender.
  • Garnish and Enjoy:
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for a burst of freshness. Pair with crusty bread or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
