Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tail on or off)
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Cooking spray
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Set Up Breading Station: In three separate bowls:
- Bowl 1: Add flour.
- Bowl 2: Beat the eggs.
- Bowl 3: Mix panko, parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle in olive oil and mix until combined.
- Coat the Shrimp: Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the panko mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
- Bake: Arrange shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet. Lightly spray with cooking spray to enhance crispiness. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.
