Description

This recipe is the definition of easy, making it perfect for a quick treat, a fun activity with kids, or even a colorful addition to your next party spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups green or red seedless grapes, washed and dried
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup (or honey for a natural alternative)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, colored sugar, or flavored gelatin powder (like Jell-O)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Grapes
Wash the grapes thoroughly and dry them completely using a paper towel. This step is crucial because any water will prevent the coating from sticking.

  • Coat with Corn Syrup
Pour the corn syrup into a shallow bowl. Working in batches, roll the grapes in the syrup until evenly coated. You can also use a toothpick to dip them one by one for a neater look.

  • Roll in Sugar or Jell-O Powder
Place the sugar or Jell-O powder in another shallow bowl. Transfer the sticky grapes into the sugar and roll them around until they are fully coated.

  • Let Them Set
Arrange the coated grapes on a parchment-lined tray and let them sit for about 30 minutes to allow the coating to firm up. If you want them extra crunchy, pop them in the fridge for an hour.

  • Serve and Enjoy!
Serve immediately for the best texture, or store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
