Description

This recipe is a total game-changer because it’s delicious, foolproof, and only takes 15 minutes to put together.

Ingredients

Scale

For the “Sand”:

  • 1 package (14 oz) Golden Oreos, crushed into fine crumbs

For the Pudding Layer:

  • 2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed

Optional Toppings:

  • Gummy sea creatures (fish, sharks, starfish)
  • Mini cocktail umbrellas
  • Mini sand buckets for serving

Instructions

1. Make the “Sand”

Place the Golden Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they resemble fine sand-like crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, crush them in a zip-top bag using a rolling pin. Set aside.

2. Prepare the Pudding

In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Set aside.

3. Make the Creamy Layer

In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and mix until fluffy.

4. Combine the Pudding & Creamy Mixture

Fold the cream cheese mixture into the pudding. Then, gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.

5. Assemble the Pudding Cups

  • Start with a layer of Oreo “sand” crumbs at the bottom of your serving cups.
  • Add a generous spoonful of pudding mixture.
  • Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of “sand” on top.

6. Decorate & Chill

Add gummy sea creatures or a mini cocktail umbrella for a beachy look. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
