Description

This Edible Peanut Butter Cookie Dough is safe, sweet, and completely irresistible. The secret? A mix of creamy peanut butter, heat-treated flour, and a touch of vanilla, creating the perfect dough texture without needing eggs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated—see below!)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 23 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (or mix-ins of choice!)

Instructions

Step 1: Heat-Treat the Flour (For Safety!)

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to kill bacteria. Let cool completely before using.

Step 2: Make the Dough

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in vanilla extract and salt.
  3. Gradually stir in heat-treated flour, mixing until combined.
  4. Add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough reaches a soft, scoopable texture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips (or any mix-ins you love!).

Step 3: Scoop & Enjoy!

  1. Eat immediately with a spoon, roll into snackable bites, or refrigerate for later.
