  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)

Instructions

Start by cutting your steak into bite-sized cubes. Season generously with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. If you like, you can add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet to ensure a beautiful sear on the steak.

Once the butter is melted, add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Let them sear without moving them for 2-3 minutes until they develop a golden-brown crust. Flip the steak and cook for another 2-3 minutes for medium-rare, or cook longer if you prefer a different level of doneness. Remove the steak from the pan and set it aside.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the Worcestershire sauce, then pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and bring the sauce to a simmer. Once the sauce has thickened slightly (about 2-3 minutes), stir in the Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.

Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce until they’re well-coated. Let everything simmer together for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
