For the Grilled Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Grill the Chicken:
- Preheat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the olive oil and seasoning mix onto both sides of the chicken.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) internally. Remove from heat and set aside.
2️⃣ Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3️⃣ Bring It All Together:
- Return the grilled chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
- Let it simmer for 2 minutes so the chicken absorbs the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
