Description

This Ground Beef and Potato Skillet is a dish where simplicity meets comfort. It’s a hearty combination of golden potatoes, juicy ground beef, and melted cheese, topped with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bell pepper, diced (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the Potatoes
    Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook diced potatoes over medium heat until golden and tender, about 8-10 minutes. Set aside.
  • Brown the Beef
    In the same skillet, cook ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Sauté the Veggies
    Add onions, garlic, and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Combine Everything
    Return potatoes to the skillet. Stir in paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat.
  • Add Cheese and Finish
    Sprinkle cheese over the mixture. Cover and let it melt for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
