Description

There’s something about a Flat White that just hits differently. It’s bolder than a latte, creamier than an espresso, and smoother than a cappuccino

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots (2 oz) espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • 4 oz whole milk (or your preferred milk alternative)

Instructions

1️⃣ Brew the Espresso

Pull two shots of espresso using an espresso machine or a Moka pot. If using a strong-brewed coffee alternative, aim for a bold, concentrated flavor.

2️⃣ Steam the Milk

Heat the milk to 140°F (60°C)—hot but not boiling. If using a steam wand, position it just below the surface to create silky microfoam (not thick froth).

No steam wand? Use a French press, milk frother, or shake the milk in a jar before microwaving for 30 seconds.

3️⃣ Pour & Enjoy

Pour the steamed milk over the espresso in a steady motion, allowing the microfoam to mix naturally.

Enjoy immediately for the smoothest, creamiest Flat White experience!
