Description

These Orange Creamsicle Cookies bring all that zesty citrus goodness and creamy vanilla flavor into one soft, chewy, melt-in-your-mouth cookie.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cookies:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Make the Dough

  1. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
  2. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, and fresh orange juice until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Step 3: Bake

  1. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden but the centers are still soft.
  3. Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
