Description

This Shepherd’s Pie Casserole combines a savory meat and vegetable base with a fluffy mashed potato topping, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup beef gravy
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef with onion, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add mixed vegetables and beef gravy to the beef, stirring to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
