- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal. - Mix the Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined. - Combine the Dry Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. - Add the Oats and Raisins:
Stir in the oats and raisins until evenly distributed. - Assemble and Bake:
Press the dough into the prepared baking dish in an even layer. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. - Cool and Slice:
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares or rectangles.
