This Surf and Turf Noodles recipe gives you the best of both worlds. Tender, juicy steak meets succulent shrimp, all tangled up in a flavorful nest of noodles.

For the Surf and Turf:
- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Noodles and Sauce:
- 8 oz noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, or rice noodles)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp chili paste (optional, for heat)
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak and Shrimp:
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the pan and set aside.In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes. Set aside with the steak.
- Cook the Noodles:
Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sesame oil to prevent sticking. - Make the Sauce:
In the skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and chili paste. Simmer for 1–2 minutes. - Combine Everything:
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the sauce. Return the steak and shrimp to the pan, mixing everything together. - Serve:
