Description

This Tiramisu Mango is a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert, bringing a burst of sunshine to every bite. It’s the perfect harmony of creamy mascarpone, delicate ladyfingers, and the vibrant tang of mango purée.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ripe mangoes, peeled and puréed
  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional, depending on mango sweetness)
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 3 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 16–20 ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fresh mango slices or mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Mango Purée:
    • Blend the mango flesh until smooth. Taste and add sugar if needed. Set aside.
  • Whip the Cream:
    • In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Fold in the mascarpone cheese gently until smooth.
  • Prepare the Coffee Mixture:
    • Mix the cooled espresso with coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  • Assemble the Layers:
    • Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the coffee mixture and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish.
    • Spread a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers, followed by a layer of mango purée.
    • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mascarpone cream on top.
  • Chill and Serve:
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
    • Garnish with fresh mango slices or mint leaves before serving.
