  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Batter

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips, making sure they’re evenly distributed.

Step 2: Bake to Perfection

  1. Spread the dough evenly into your prepared pan, smoothing the top.
