Ingredients
- For the Salad:
- 6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup banana peppers or pepperoncini, sliced
- 1 cup cubed mozzarella or provolone cheese
- ½ cup black or Kalamata olives, sliced
- 4 oz salami, sliced into strips
- 4 oz pepperoni, sliced into strips
- Optional: 1 cup cooked pasta (for a heartier salad)
- For the Dressing:
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp sugar (optional)

Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Dressing
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding a little sugar if needed for balance.
