Description

Picture this: a plate of golden, fluffy pancakes stacked high, dripping with melted Nutella, and crowned with perfectly ripe banana slices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or regular milk with 1 tsp lemon juice)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Nutella (warmed for easy drizzling)

Instructions

  • Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Prepare the Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry, stirring until just combined.
  • Cook the Pancakes:
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  • Layer the Bananas and Nutella:
Stack the pancakes, adding sliced bananas and a drizzle of Nutella between each layer.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
Top with extra bananas, Nutella, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar for the ultimate presentation.
