For the Seafood:
- 4 lobster tails
- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
For the Garlic-Herb Butter:
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Juice of 1 lemon
Garnish:
- Lemon wedges
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Lobster
- Using kitchen shears, cut down the middle of the lobster tail shells. Gently pull the meat up and out, resting it on top of the shell.
- Brush the lobster meat with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Step 2: Prep the Shrimp
- Toss the shrimp in olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Step 3: Make the Garlic-Herb Butter
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Set aside.
Step 4: Grill the Seafood
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375–400°F).
- Place the lobster tails shell-side down on the grill. Cook for 5–7 minutes, basting with garlic-herb butter, until the meat is opaque and slightly charred.
- Add the shrimp to the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, basting with the butter, until pink and cooked through.
Step 5: Serve
- Arrange the lobster and shrimp on a platter. Drizzle with any remaining garlic-herb butter and garnish with lemon wedges and parsley. Serve immediately.
