Description

If there’s one dessert that brings out my inner cookie monster — it’s these Thick & Chewy Monster Cookie Bars

Ingredients

Ingredient Measurement
Unsalted Butter ½ cup (melted)
Creamy Peanut Butter ¾ cup
Brown Sugar ¾ cup (packed)
Granulated Sugar ½ cup
Eggs 2 large
Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
Quick Oats 2 cups
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Mini Chocolate Chips ½ cup
M&Ms ¾ cup (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

1. Mix It All Together

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

2. Add the Eggs & Vanilla

Stir in eggs and vanilla extract until creamy.

3. Fold in the Dry Ingredients

Mix in oats, baking soda, chocolate chips, and M&Ms until everything is combined.

4. Press + Bake

Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and press the dough evenly into the pan. Sprinkle extra M&Ms on top (because more is always better, right?).

Bake for 18-22 minutes until the edges are golden but the center is still soft.

5. Cool + Slice

Let cool completely before slicing into bars (if you can wait that long!).
